India TV is known to resort to trash journalism of the worst kind, that can easily get on your nerves. It takes just one clipping and plays it on for a mind numbing 40 minutes. I once came upon a piece of news where somewhere in Kanyakumari, a car went over two engineers in a busy street. India TV played the same clipping for 40 minutes(the clipping was repeated for 70 times) with the news reader telling the same incident in different ways, till I had to switch off the television in frustration.
India TV takes some video clipping from the internet or Home Videos ,where someone is shown doing an exceptional feat and plays it post prime-time. It talks about how their camera men have managed to take the video. Never before I have seen any channel like this, which harps continuously on its achievements; when it is actually next to none
I had thought about writing this post everytime but deliberately put it off, till I could not do so any longer, especially since I saw something yesterday that gave me the much needed dosage to write this post. IndiaTV newscasters lambasted Shahrukh Khan for being joyous about his victory on the evening when there were blasts in Jaipur. Come on, to air such stuff is sheer stupidity! Shahrukh Khan was positively happy about his match which had nothing do with Jaipur blasts. But the news made it seem as if Shahrukh Khan was the villain of the piece. The news channel made statements against Shahrukh Khan saying that he is busy with fun and games whereas his bretheren is writhing in pain. India TV has to mind its choice of words and needless character assassination which it subjects upon people. Such kind of mud-slinging, mis-reporting and manipulative coverage is totally uncalled for. The appropriate authorities should keep a close on the news channel and monitor the fare that is dished out.

You are absolutely right, India TV is a crap. They give you complete wrong information about everything. Today they were showing one clip of ''Macaque monkeys'' from Japan stating that this is some ''Hathyogi'' who can live in cold waters of - 20 degrees. Tell these bullshits, that the water that monkey lives in is a ''HOTSPRING'', thats the reason they are in water.
Then they keep showing Criss Angel's internet video saying that he is a ''DEv Purush". LOL !!!! Keep it going INDIA TV, the day is not far when you will have to lock your office.
INDIA TV, thats the worst TV channel i have ever seen. i am irritated because my parents are watching it regularly. since last 2 months India TV was showing the news, " the World's End on 10th sept" , stealing all videos from other news channels/internet regarding Particle Colider and saying as they will start diging, World will end.
What an idiotic channel, filling negative thoughts, in a country where people already have 100 other problem to solve.
just hoping that someone will Ban that news channel.
Allready other news channels are showing news in a negative way, and over that this India TV, fortubately its hindi news channel, and its not been broadcasted outside INDIA, otherwise It might impact INDIA's image itself.

Very true, the worst news channel i have ever seen. It should be shut down immediately. In some of the news, they literally brainwash kids and scare them to hell.
Someone should complain to the concerned authorities. We all know that INDIA TV is disgustingly trashy,but is the government blind or deaf. Its like, even i think i should make up crappy and non-sensical videos and send it to them,and its not going to be to my surprise if they broadcast it for like a month.
INDIA TV is the worst channel in the entire world. I am so irritated. They are making fool of themselves. How can they be such idiots. Whenever i come accross INDIA TV while surfing channels, i pause, laugh at their foolishness and change. They should be banned.

Yes, its true india tv is really the worst thing on indian television, followed by aajtak,ibn7,star news etc., their idiotic & fake stories are sky hyped which could amuse uneducated rural masses but to the educated these channals are no more than a dirty joke on indian journalism.

India tv break the news yesterday night that some Adivasi has spotted andhra's CM helicopter.they claimed that YSR is safe and they are the 1st one to break this news.eventually when ministry confirmed that he is still missing Indiatv started telecasting that Adivasi made mistake by identifying some glowing stuff as cm's helicopter.They claim as if they are the best in the business but in reality this whole channel is shit.rajat sharma just stop ur crap and retire.

to start off with a few names - Star News / zee news / aaj tak / and the channel that tops the list in the caTEGORY OF making news with the intention of making things worse - the award goes to Barkha dutt - NDTV..congrats! i ve heard some ways how she got her news - for eq - the kargil reports during kargil war.who did what to get what. lol ! well the point is ..they are really good /professional liars/mind contemplators.

OK, so finally found something which relates to what i am currently thinking...i just surfed through 8 channels to find same shit being repeated for an hour and kep going and going...the main quesitons being asked were : app ko kesa lag raha hai? app kiya feel karahe hain? app ko kesa laga jab yeh hua....WTF its the same fucking question being asked 3 or more times!!!! ALL OF INDIAN MEDIA IS TRASH SERIOUSLY.!
I am sure all Indians want to say this. People are fed up by this news Channel. I dont know why this has not caught the attention of Ministry Of Broadcasting. The Ministry is lacking in courage to curb this kind of practice by media.
A new law to regulate the contents of news channels need to be implemented. We have been waiting for a very long time fir this to happen.
